POKÉDEX — GEN I–IX
Pokédex
Filter the Pokédex by name, type or generation, then open an entry for stats, learnsets and sprite eras. English and German names both find the same Pokémon.
HOW THIS DEX WORKS
Filter the Pokédex, then open an entry
Type a name, pin a type or a generation. The grid updates immediately. Open the card when stats, learnsets or sprites are needed for a slot, a run or a fight.
German and English spellings hit the same Pokémon. Slugs stay English. The number above the grid is the current filter, so 81 of 1,025 means the stack is working.
THE GRID
How the grid gets smaller
Filters add up. A type chip plus a generation plus a search term cut the same list. Reset empties the stack and stays on this page.
Bilingual search
A name or a dex number both work. German and English spellings resolve to the same id, so Glurak and Charizard open one entry.
Type and generation stack
Type chips and the generation rail add together. Two types mean both must match. Special tokens such as Legendary or regional forms sit on the same stack.
Comfort, compact, list
Comfort shows larger cards. Compact packs more Pokémon on screen. List is a 44px row for scanning names and types. The choice persists in the browser.
Sort the filtered set
Sort by dex number, name, height, weight or base stat total. The order applies to the current filter, not to the whole Pokédex behind it.
THE ENTRY
Stats, learnsets and sprites live on the entry
The card is just the index. The entry holds typing, the six base stats, abilities, learnsets and sprite eras from the early games through 3D.
Types, stats, abilities
The overview shows the typing, the six base stats and the abilities for the Pokémon. That is the first check before a slot or a matchup.
Learnsets by game
Level-up, egg, tutor and machine moves sit on the entry. Use them to see what a Pokémon can learn before the team builder checks the version group.
Sprite eras
The museum keeps pixel and 3D-era sprites on one timeline. Use it to recognize a Pokémon across sprite eras.
LIMITS
No flavor text, no set essays
